Christmas Time is here.

Putting these pictures up for Grandma, so she can see Dad's house like she asked about.

This is actually from last year, but it didn't change that much.

And, just for fun, her house at night.

Pictures!

As I promised, house pictures. We're already taking steps to making it ours- Kevin had Burt do most of the stuff he'd usually do today, like cut the lawn and buy a furnace filter and then install it. And before I go any further, I just want to let everyone know we're going to knock out a wall in the kitchen and put a half bath there for Grandma and Auntie Char. We're going to see if my dad can help us with that.

Welcome to 1471 Minnehaha Avenue West.
The side yard. Their property goes all the way to the end of the picture.
Porch! It is a three season porch, and I've heard it's nice in the spring.
There's the fire pit, by the grill. I love that tree in the back. Apparently, Burt had a tire swing hanging from that tree. I hope to continue that tradition.

View of back yard from the back steps.
I have no reason for posting this other than I really like this truck. The first time I saw it I ran up to it and hugged it. It was dark. No one saw me. ^_^
The view of the back from the alley. I'm sparing you the picture we took of the garage because it needs to be painted.
"The Back 40."

I'm not actually sure what this is called, but it's built into the wall.
Dining room. I couldn't get all the rooms because of the way I was standing, but the kitchen connects through both the living room and the dining room. I'm also not sure if that table and the plants will be ours, but that's fine, because I'd more than likely kill the plants anyway. ^_^
Living room. The couch and chairs will be ours. Along with the end tables and lamps, since the Florida condo is furnished.

Silly picture, but it had to be done. The view of the hallway at the top of the stairs. The door at the end is actually a linen closet, and the hallway leads to the master bedroom and the bathroom.
Master bedroom. I'm pretty sure we're not getting the bed, but we may be getting the dresser.
This is actually the second bedroom. The first bedroom is larger, but was too messy, so I had to be content with capturing this one.
This is the TV Eileen won at work. Since Burt's parents can't fit that into their condo, they are giving it to us.

It's Here!

That's right. We finally buckled down and made one. Burt suggested it a few weeks ago and I was too swamped to do anything. I hope this will be pleasant reading for all of you.
