Burt and I have begun looking at houses! We talked to his parents, and they're not quite ready to give up the house, so even though we were going to get a great house before, we've found some great houses now. Our family plans are being put on hold until we move. May as well save up for one thing at a time, and I felt the house was more important.
Burt and I have begun our walks that we love to do. We're happy because it hasn't rained as much this year, so we don't have wasted weekends. We just checked out a new park on Saturday down in Nerstrand. It's quite a drive, but it's worth it! Not only did we have fun and work on getting healthier, we got some great reference shots for locations in our novel. That's been put on hold so we can finish up the new map and background. Once again, anyone who is interested can drop us a line.
We went to Anime Detour again this year, and had fun, but were exhausted, thanks to the hotel being 22 stories and our room being on the 16th floor. Saturday night we didn't sleep; our punishment for being the room next to a bunch of hyper teenage girls, and while I wouldn't recommend it, it was kind of fun to try once.
I also got a laptop in that time! ^_^
